It’s not easy to get signed to a record label these days. So many people gain fame from YouTube videos alone. To get signed means standing out among all of the other talented people who have the same dreams and aspirations.
For Delaney Jane, this dream has become a reality.
Spinnin’ Records signed a track by Delaney Jane on March 23, 2014. It is set to be released in early July.
Jumping up and down while spilling the news of her deal, Delaney said “I couldn’t be more excited. I can’t wait for what is yet to come in the future.”



Delaney Jane has been playing guitar and sharing her voice since she was 11 years old. It has always been a passion of hers. When she was 18, she left to go to York University in Toronto to pursue acting, but soon realized it was not for her.
“I just wasn’t into it. My heart was somewhere else.”
She quickly withdrew, and moved back home to Waterloo. While deciding which route she wanted to take, she kept busy in the community. Delaney Jane performed in KW Glee, and played at many local music venues. This included playing with already signed band Aisles, and recording music for their album.
