Lauren Lanzaretta is a singer/ songwriter from Cleveland, Ohio who discovered her musical talent by writing songs on a family piano beginning at the age of 10. Influenced by her upbringing in a Christian home, she learned guitar and began developing her soulful sound by writing gospel songs and leading worship.

Over the course of her life, shes been impacted by soulful greats such as Amy Winehouse, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, Mariah Carey and most recently Lady Gaga, who have all inspired her to build upon her soulful sound. From folky guitar ballads to exciting R&B collaborations, her musical styles vary and can appeal to a broad audience.

As a Top Ten Contestant in the Budweiser Opening Act Competition (2011), she hopes to build on her experiences and promote her most recent collaboration EP Album with DJ $crilla, Color of Love (2012). She is also currently recording her first solo album expected out some time in 2013.
