Aquilo are a musical duo from Silverdale, Lancashire, England: Tom Higham and Ben Fletcher. They have received attention in two articles in The Guardian and on the American indie music blog Pigeons & Planes. Their track You There was chosen for BBC Radio 1s playlist on 12 June 2014,
They performed Calling me and You there on the BBC Introducing stage at the 2014 Glastonbury Festival 2014 on 28 June 2014.You there was included in the "Best Of BBC Introducing Stage" choices,[6] and DIY described them as "Another highlight from the Introducing stage" and said that they "cast a hypnotising spell of harmonies and crashing waves over their audience". They are to play at the 2014 Kendal Calling festival.
